December can bring a variety of experiences and emotions, and before you know it, it will be 2018! Setting a New Years Intention is a great way to begin again and get clear on your goals. According to the Vedic text known as the Upanishads, “You are what your deepest desire is. As your desire is, so is your intention. As your intention is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny.”
Meditation, journaling and quiet reflection are all great ways to become clear with your intentions. While in contemplation, I realize that have had a lifelong desire to support the health and wellbeing of myself and others. One of my intentions for 2018 is to deliver content in new ways that better serve the overall health, balance and wellness of my entire community. I commit to better communication through newsletters and offer exciting new opportunities to explore self care through yogic practices and good nutrition.
My teaching schedule
In December, you can find me teaching Hatha classes at The Yoga Place in Ephrata every Thursday evening from 7-8:15. I'm also teaching the 8 am class on Sunday, December 10.
If hanging out on the rope wall is your thing, I'll be at West End Yoga on December 10, 12, 24, 26, and 31. Christmas Eve and New Years Eve classes will only be held at 11:00, so reserve your spot in advance.
Favorite healthy meals

My favorite yoga mat
My husband purchased this Manduka Pro mat for 12 years ago, and it has only gotten better with age. I have stolen it from him, as he no longer maintains a yoga practice. I currently keep this mat reserved for my home practice, and I love it so much! It is well worth the investment, and passes the test of time. Click on the mat image to order.
